Bolinas Main Street

Bolinas Main Street, dip pen and ink and watercolor, double page, 16x5in.
Another day enjoying the coast. Bolinas is a very special place. Since they don't have a sign to tell you where to turn to get there I am not sure I should be saying too much about it.

  2. Thank you Jana! This is my first try at a wide angle view. It was interesting to do.

  3. What a rich looking sketch! It's just satisfying to look at! How is it to use a dip pen ? I love the look you get.

  4. Thank you for the comment Cathy. I like the uneven lines that the nibs produce, there isn't complete control of the ink flow and of the width of the lines and the result for me is a more organic look.
