Recently I went on the Memorial Cruise aboard The Jeremiah O'Brien one of two remaining fully functional Liberty ships of the 2,710 built and launched during WWII. The O'Brien has the distinction of being the last unaltered Liberty ship. The cruise which went out the Golden Gate and in San Francisco Bay,is an annual tradition honoring the Merchant Marine and the US Navy Armed Guard,
