Indian Rock Park, Berkeley

Volcanic in origin, Indian Rock is composed of rhyolite. Many remains of acorn-
grinding pits can be found. They were carved by the local indigenous people,
the Huichin band of the Ohlones. The top of Indian Rock Park commands a
spectacular view - all three of the bay's largest bridges can be seen, and it's a
popular place to watch the sun set.
