The Hotsy Totsy Club was over 70 years old when new owners took it over and transformed it from a run down, dirty dive for neighborhood drunks into a quirky, retro neighborhood dive that is a fun place to hangout and equally fun to sketch. At the bar - a much simplified sketch thanks to the hot toddy

When it got cold out we went inside where it was warmer but dark. Judith and I shared a hot toddy and sketched until 9:00 when they serve hot stew on Tuesday nights (Stewsdays). It was delicious shrimp gumbo. Yum!
