New Year's Eve Day in Oakland Chinatown

Some of our group met at the Pacific Renaissance Center on Ninth Street between Franklin and Webster in downtown Oakland.  The place was filled with people of all ages, buying seafood for celebrations later that night, going to lunch at one of the many restaurants, playing around the fountain, shopping at the mall stores, just sitting and talking.

This couple was waiting for a necklace to be fixed.
