"Portrait of my Father" by Stephen Kalenbach

I was transfixed by this amazing wall-size painting of the artist's father on his deathbed seven years after dying from Alzheimer's; my own mother died of dementia recently & I'd asked my sister and her caregiver to take regular photos of her since I lived far away.  My plan was to do a drawing or painting of her but I still am too sad.  This powerful painting inspired me.
