Japanese Peace Lantern Ceremony at Aquatic Park Lake

Took BART and rode my bicycle to this event with my stool strapped to
my back and some sketching tools. The event was well attended!  Most people

 arrived around 8:30 PM so I am so glad I went early to get a good viewing spot. 

Lovely to see people designing the lanterns, listening to the Taiko drums, and
 watching the final send off of the lanterns over the water. -- Vivian Aldridge
