Berkeley Bowl, an independent, full-service market, opened its branch on 9th and Heinz in June 2009.

BB West has the same luscious, abundant produce as the original with even more room in the aisles.

I was hanging out in one of the aisles with a view of the main produce section containing exotic watermelons, casaba melons, crenshaw melons, pineapples, and fruits of many types, piled high in crates and boxes, ready to be taken home and savored.
