A bit too scary!

Try Me, $99.99, dip pen and ink
and watercolor over white gouache, 9x12in
I painted over an old drawing with white gouache and I used it as the underpainting for this drawing. It turned out pretty scary. I added the Try Me button to lighten it up. At least there was no inflation for this item, last year it was selling for the same price :)

Happy Halloween

We met at Halloween City in Albany, a cavernous store filled with costumes, seasonal decor and a scary music soundtrack.

One more from Halloween City

Judith's sketch of Halloween City Makeup Selection
Only $6.99 and you can be wild and wickedly gorgeous (though maybe not as gorgeous as Judith Heller's sketch would lead you to believe). Judith is a regular member of the group who has been shy about posting her groovy art but hopefully you'll be seeing more of it soon.

And if you haven't seen the other Halloween City sketches from a fun night sketching there, please scroll down and see the other 6 posts.

Halloween City, Albany, CA

It was a fun night at the Halloween store. We had plentiful to choose from. I met people from work who were buying spider web and it was nice to talk to the people from the store. A very kind gentleman gave us some excellent ideas of places to go sketching.  I added the color at home.
