Friday Night at the Oakland Museum

I was surprised to see such a large turnout for this event because of the cold.  Dancing certainly helped the crowd warm up. A practiced leader showed the group how to dance the latest hip hop moves. Even the kids got involved! -- Vivian Aldridge

There was also live music. I moved to the very front of the crowd to sketch this.

Caffe Trieste

The Randy Craig Trio, with a couple extra singers. They were wonderful, sang/played some good old American Standards. I don't like to waste paper, so drew this on top of some fish I had started at a local market (mackerel), so it looks like they have some odd company!

The Actual Cafe Welcomes All

I love the Actual Cafe.  It is truly a community gathering place for all.
