Caffe Trieste

The Randy Craig Trio, with a couple extra singers. They were wonderful, sang/played some good old American Standards. I don't like to waste paper, so drew this on top of some fish I had started at a local market (mackerel), so it looks like they have some odd company!

Here are more drawings of jazz fans listening to Randy Craig's group at Caffe Trieste in Berkeley on San Pablo Avenue.  This is another location of the venerable Caffe Trieste in San Francisco's North Beach on Grant and Vallejo, established in 1956.  The music tradition is deep and strong, the original caffe having offered mandolin, accordian and opera aria concerts for decades.

Walls are covered with photos of family and famous patrons.

It was a lively night at Cafe Trieste. We enjoyed food, drinks and music with the Randy Craig Trio and Friends. I had not been at the cafe before but I will for sure go back. I arrived early and I tried another panorama sitting at one of the high tables. I still need widen the view.
